PlayStation 3 (PS3) is the video game console of the seventh generation manufactured by Sony. It was released November 11, 2006 in Japan, November 17, 2006 in North America and March 23, 2007 in Europe. After release the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, now that Sony released the successor to the PlayStation 2. The PS3 is competing with the Wii and Xbox 360.
The PlayStation 3 is in an era of high definition television by incorporating a Blu-ray and an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface or French: High Definition Multimedia Interface). This connector allows you to connect an audio source / video such as Blu-ray or HD DVD, computer or game console The console also has a hard drive, a web browser and media center that supports various types of multimedia formats. Its online service, PlayStation Network, allows network play for free, download games, demos, trailers and providing access to various communications services. The controller, called Sixaxis, has the distinction of integrating a system of recognition of movement which allows players to interact with games.
